As you know, we are having a congregation workshop day on Saturday 5 October as part of our review of the Christian mission of All Saints’. We hope you will be able to attend.
There will be presentations from the Mission Action Planning group and the diocesan facilitators, but an important element of the day is the opportunity for members of the congregation to express their views on the life of All Saints’ in relation to the nine marks of mission. This is all part of the process of determining what it that God is calling us to do.
Given that this is a special occasion, Morning Prayer will be said at 9.30 am and the day will conclude with a celebration of the Eucharist at approximately 3.00 pm. Coffee and tea will be available in the hall from 9.45 am prior to a 10.15 am start, and also at lunchtime. Everyone is asked to bring their own sandwiches, etc.
As part of the preparation for this day, there will be a Prayer Morning on Saturday 21 September, beginning with the regular Saturday Mass being celebrated at 9.30 am, special prayers said at 11.00 am, and concluding with Midday Prayer at 12 noon.
Please let the Rector know by Saturday 21 September whether you will be able to attend or not.
